This qualitative comparative case study aims to address the evolving demands on skills and training within the offsite construction sector, driven by technological advancements in automated manufacturing processes. The study also seeks to close the knowledge gap in understanding the skills, training, and learning dynamics within the offsite construction industry. It aims to provide insights into the skills, knowledge, and training necessary to prepare tradespeople for the changing demands of the construction sector.
This study has been reviewed and approved by The Bartlett School of Sustainable Construction Ethics Committee, ensuring it meets all ethical standards required by the university. The ethics reference number for this project is 27145/001.
